After American football, WWE is known as an extremely violent entertainment sport; the battles on the floor are arranged to win and lose before and carefully trained.
However, the number of wrestlers who die young on or off the field for a variety of reasons is also numerous. Here are 4 WWE wrestlers who died unexpectedly at the peak of their careers.
1. Umaga (Age: 36)
Umaga had heart disease but died from brain death. Umaga slept while watching TV, and a few hours later, his wife found out that he had stopped breathing and had a nosebleed. The doctor breathed an oxygen bottle to endure his life but later learned that he could no longer hope, so he pulled out the oxygen cylinder, and Umaga died. Umaga died at 6 o’clock on December 4, 2009.
2. Randy Savage (Age 59)
Randy Savage also died of a heart attack in 2011. He was carrying his wife in the car, and then a heart attack came, he lost control, and the car crashed into a tree on the side of the road. Although Savage’s wife had not suffered any significant injuries after the accident, Savage was pronounced dead at the scene due to a heart attack, a condition he was not even aware of.
Savage is finally named in WWE’s hall of fame and is remembered as one of the greatest wrestlers.
3. Chris Benoit (Age: 40)
In June 2007, the Benoit family of Benoit and his wife and children went missing for days. The police eventually discovered their body in their own home. The authorities believed that Benoit had strangled Nancy (Benoit’s wife) and Daniel (Benoit’s son), over the next three days, he decided to hang himself at his home. Benoit had been diagnosed with a mental illness, but no one realized the disease was so serious.
4. The Ultimate Warrior (Age: 54)
The Ultimate Warrior was a wrestler legend of WWE, but he passed away at the age of 54 on April 8, 2014, only three days after he was nominated for WWE’s hall of fame. According to reports, he held his chest and collapsed right next to his wife, just outside a hotel. An ambulance was immediately brought to the hospital, but the doctors could not help it.
Revealed that he died of a heart attack, many of his friends witnessed and told him he was sweating and panting all day before his death. His death was the latest tragedy for WWE.
