HAMMERS, LIONS SWARM, and Wolves Sweep Rhinos win in WAFI Opener

Young Lakers/Wolves of the young Paige were ultimately clicking since they managed to win the two games last weekend over Rashbag Rhinos 14 vs. 8 and 7 vs. 0 for the first two wins of the WAFI (Women’s American Football in Israel) season.

Kayla Grodner of the Wolves scored two outstanding TDs for the team. Meanwhile, Deena Karger of TVA worked to score a TD in the first game. Also, Miriam Wolf caught a great TD pass as well as a further point for the lone score during game two.

Plus, Big Blue that seems undefeated won the two games to go a 6 vs. 0, aside from downing Just Not Fare 13 vs. 12 and 21 vs. 0. Big Blue tried to rally twice during game one, initially matching the pick-6 from Racheli Abell with the TD by Daniella Brown, next, answering the TD pass by Shulamit to Aliza Zalcman with the acrobatic scoring catch from Eli Baumol within the last minute of the game. During game two, Eli scored twice; also, Daniella added one more score for Big Blue during the shutout.

Further, Judean Rebels split the games with Kosher Casual – coming out on top 13 vs. 6 with the two TDs from Michal Alge as well as Penny Rabin, just to lose 13 vs. 7 in their latter match. During the first game, Tiferet managed to gain a touchdown for Rebels, and Shelby added the extra point.
